Our assistant button is comfortable and discreet. You can choose to wear it around your wrist on an adjustable strap, like a watch, or around your neck on a comfortable cord. Both attachments are included, so it’s down to your personal preferences.
Furthermore, the assistant button is waterproof. This means you can still raise an alarm if you slip in the bath or shower – which is easily done! The button also has a range of up to 100 metres, so you’re covered throughout your entire home and outside in the garden.
What's more, there is no need to worry about recharging your pendant button. It has a seven-year battery life, and a free replacement will be issued as soon as we’re notified (automatically) of a low battery.
The Lifeline Alarm unit is pre-programmed before you receive it so there is no need to wait for installation engineers — your alarm can be ready to use within 24 hours of ordering!
Installation is quick and easy, taking only a few minutes. After installing your alarm, you will complete a test call with our UK-based Response Team to ensure the Lifeline Alarm is set up correctly. If you feel unwell or suffer from a fall, simply push the red assistant button on your pendant. This sends an automatic alert to our UK Monitoring Centre. Our 24-hour Response Team will answer straight away.
A team member will speak with you through the loudspeaker on the base unit. They will assess your situation and try to reassure you, whilst arranging for the appropriate people to come and help you.
They will call your emergency contacts (family and friends who you select), and ask them to attend urgently. If required, the emergency services will also be contacted on your behalf. Any relevant medical history will also be passed on to the paramedics.
