Meet our Lifeline Customer Service Team in this special Case Study. Today we are speaking to Bee, who is one of the many call handlers who answer your queries and assist you with your alarm account. We asked Bee a few questions about working in our Lifeline Customer Service Team to give you a look at who is on the other end of the phone.

Favourite Place: Anywhere with water. I always feels so peaceful by the ocean or a lake so by water is my favourite place to be.

Being a Lifeline Customer Service Executive, you have to adapt to different situations on a daily basis. Why did you decide to do this job?

I’ve always liked variety in my work and I had been training to be a teacher prior to this. The people here are amazing and being able to provide such a lifesaving service to our customers is something I really do treasure.

How do you feel the Lifeline service helps people?

Lifeline offers security to those in need. Our customers know that they can get help within seconds should they feel unwell or have I fall and I believe this is priceless.

Have you any advice for someone considering a Lifeline alarm?

If you are thinking about getting an alarm it is always worth discussing this with the customer service team as we are able to asses your needs and recommend the best plan for you.

You speak to a wide variety of people every day in the Lifeline Customer Service Team, how do you adapt to each call?

It is important to take the time to listen to the needs of the caller, this way I can be sure to adapt and advise as best I can.

What is the best part of what you do?

The best part is the fantastic team that I work with. Our customers are in safe hands with the customer service team and we all help each other in anyway we can.

What do you think is important for people to know about your job?

Although the job may be demanding and high pressure, the rewards are tenfold and I can honestly say I love my job!
