Who are Abbeyfield?
Established in 1956 as a charity, the Abbeyfield Society provides housing for older people and has various branches, both across the UK and internationally. Their main aims are to provide high quality accommodation to allow older people to live in a stimulating environment whilst maintaining their independence.
Abbeyfield works hand in hand with the communities that they are based in, with local participants providing everything from trips to the seaside to fun festivities throughout Christmas.
How has the LifeConnect24 alarm service helped?
LifeConnect24 have had the privilege of being able to provide the alarm service for our local branch, Abbeyfield Norwich who are situated in a quiet and picturesque area of Norwich City. This is what Victoria, who is the Home Manager at the branch, had to say about LifeConnect24:
