The Piper Alarm service is designed to help elderly and disabled people to continue living in the comfort of their own homes. The alarm gives them a way to call for help 24/7, 365 days a year, by simply pressing a button on their wrist or around their neck.
The pendant button can be worn around your wrist or neck. Both attachments are included with the alarm, so the choice is yours. The pendant is small and compact, yet the red button is a third larger than the previous model. This makes it discreet and easy to hide under your clothing, while remaining easy to press in an emergency.
Our pendant is waterproof, so you can call for help if you slip in the bath or shower. You’ll also be able to press the button if you fall whilst out in your garden, as the pendant has an impressive range of 100 metres.

The pendant button connects to the Piper Alarm’s base unit. This is a small box which can be installed by the alarm user or a loved one in a few minutes. It simply plugs into your telephone socket and mains power, with your telephone going into the back of the box using the adaptor provided.
The base unit for the Piper Alarm has a loudspeaker, which our Response Team will use to speak to you in an emergency. You can then respond by using the built-in microphone.
A 40-hour back-up battery will boot up during a power cut, ensuring that you never have to go without the reassurance of your Piper Alarm.
