Our standard telecare alarm package includes a telecare alarm unit and telecare pendant. Both devices are sturdy, reliable, and energy-efficient with no moving parts. The alarm units are designed to last for over 10 years without ever needing a battery replacement. However, should your unit fail any of our automated tests, we will replace it with a brand new telecare alarm free of charge.

INSTALLING THE TELECARE ALARM IS QUICK & EASY

The telecare alarm unit is pre-programmed before you receive it so there is no need to wait for any installation engineers. We have ensured the self-installation of our telecare alarm is also quick and easy, taking only a few minutes to complete from opening the package. After installing your telecare alarm, you will complete a test call with our 24/7 UK-based Response Team to ensure the telecare alarm is set up correctly.

When the alarm arrives you will receive a detailed, easy-to-understand, step-by-step installation guide within the package. In reality though, it is as simple as plugging your alarm in and turning on the plug socket. However, if you do come across issues with your alarm set up, our 24/7 customer service team are always on hand to help and answer any queries.

The Telecare Pendant

The telecare pendant has been designed with the user’s comfort in mind. The pendant can be worn around your neck or around your wrist, with both attachments available inside the box. We can also provide a belt clip attachment upon request.

The small, discreet and stylish design means that you don’t have to worry about removing the device if you are heading out – most people won’t even notice it!

7 Year Battery Life

The telecare pendant has an impressive seven-year battery life. If the battery starts running low, we automatically receive a warning and will send a free replacement.

Waterproof

The telecare pendant is waterproof so you can keep it on whilst in the bath or shower. Please note: we do not advise submerging the device in water for longer than 30 minutes.

100 Metre Range

The pendant has a range of up to 100 metres. This means that your pendant will still connect to the telecare alarm’s base unit when you are outside in the garden.

869MHz Frequency

The pendant runs on the 869MHz European Social Alarm Frequency, which means that it doesn’t interfere with other medical equipment in your home.
